Things to Know ?

The Reel marked 'A' is the Original 50ft of Film,
Eight of these joined together Fitted onto the
400ft Reel Marked 'B' that has a Guage marking
of 50ft Intervals

In about 1925 the original Standard 8mm film
was developed. Around this time Pathe also made the first home movie camera and 9.5mm Film. The film in the Camera was in fact 16mm and the roll only 25ft in length. One turned over the film at the half way point. At the processor they split it down the middle and sent it back. Most film was run at 18 frames per second. The standard 8 ran for over four minutes. In or around 1965 Kodak developed the replacement Super 8 having smaller sprocket holes providing for a larger Image and an area for a Magnetic Sound track. The Film was 50ft in Length and housed in a cassette or Cartridge making loading simple. It also did away with the need to turn over the film. Kodak film is just over three minutes in time whilst Agfa ran over four. At Just moments in time we charge by each 400ft length of film or part of 400ft, and a small charge for each reel. Additional charges are for Sound, mixed sound,
Titling and Repairs. See Price structure.
